Hampstead

Balcony, spiral stairs and internal alterations

Leading from the first floor newly open planned kitchen and dining room, large bi-fold doors and a balcony with spiral staircase draw the superb gardens into this prime townhouse. In close collaboration with the landscape gardeners, a fine old wisteria was preserved at the heart of the scheme.

The balcony detailing was created to complement the elegance of the 1930’s façade. Glass insertions were installed into the floor to allow streams of light to the lower ground, and the interior spatial design and décor were conceived to continue the style and grace of the original reception rooms.
