The designs for a luxurious shooting lodge

Swabey-Collison Architecture was commissioned for the designs for a luxurious country-shooting lodge encompassing the use of an existing traditional barn, hay barn and stables.

A strong commitment to creative design transformed the barn, incorporating a vaulted dining hall with glass roof insertions, a clubroom separated by a central bar, a gallery tucked under the eaves for select business meetings, a boot room and luxury bathroom facilities. Swabey-Collison took a bespoke but sympathetic design-led approach to the interior to maximise on the barn structures within the setting of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A fully opening glazed extension to the main barn was designed for residing under a canopy in all weather. A linked kitchen corridor was incorporated to access a fully designed kitchen and staff room and the former stables were developed as a retreat for guests staying at the lodge.
